With five employees the Haussmann Group was yet again represented at the annual Praxity global tax conference, which took place from 11-13 June 2017 in Lisbon. At this year’s conference over 220 participants from 38 countries were present to share their expertise and experiences. The main topics involved were the Brexit and its national and international impact from the tax perspective, the global tax planning in the digital economy in connection with group structures, transfer pricing, BEPS and executive pay, and the challenges of the digital revolution in view of economy and tax as well as the accounting respectively tax advisory business. Guest speakers from the tech start up scene provided very interesting insights into their ideas and how they converted it into revenue. Subsequently, the participants engaged in the working groups international corporate tax, private client services, VAT and indirect tax, global mobility and transfer pricing were able to strengthen their international cooperation within the alliance.
